Product Summary

is a self-stained wood preservative that penetrates into the wood and remains there as an active barrier against wood boring insects and termites. It has a water-repellent property that protects the wood from ingress of moisture.

Most suitable for rough sawn timber or as a final coat on all hidden timbers or even fences and post above ground. This product is permethrin-based and suitable for use by professional and DIYs (Do It Yourself).

Environment / Application

Internally: Solignum Brown is for use in buildings on timbers above the damp-proof course including floor joists, roofing timbers and joinery that do not require painting.

Externally: Solignum Brown is suitable for fences, gates, outhouses, Sheds, farm buildings and building timbers above the damp proof course. Can be used as a final coat.

Guideline Coverage: ** Sawn timber 4-8m² per litre per coat.

Pack Sizes: 1 litre and 4 litres gallon

Application: The product should be applied using coarse spray or brush with recommended 3 coats on all sides including cut-ends. For best results, apply by immersion for at least 3 minutes to ensure adequate uptake of preservatives.
